About the Founder

Minister Haimanot Haile was born in Ethiopia (in the area which is now the country of Eritrea). As a teenager she became a refugee in Nairobi, Kenya. In 1990 she became a born again Christian. In 1991, while she was still in a refugee camp in Nairobi, Kenya, she received the vision of Rehoboth.

In 1993 God opened the door for Haime to come to the United States, she moved to Stamford Connecticut in 2002, shortly thereafter, she became a licensed preacher. Currently Haime is pursuing a Nursing degree at Norwalk Community College.

During the last few years Haime has preached in Canada, Sudan, Eritrea, Boston, Massachusetts, and  Connecticut.

After 20 years, Haime returned to Eritrea to visit and see her people.  Haime was dismayed and shocked upon seeing the harsh living conditions of the people of Eritrea. What she witnessed moved her to share the vision which she received so long ago.

In a short span of time Rehoboth has been established as a non–profit 501(c) corporation with dedicated Board Members.
